Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Specialist to join our team in the payment domain. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations in the financial technology space.

  • Provide level 2/3 application and production support for digital payment systems, including UPI and retail banking platforms.
  • Monitor application health, system alerts, and perform incident management to ensure minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution and change implementation.
  • Document support procedures, run books, and incident reports.

Compliance with ITIL practices is essential, including incident, problem, and change management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • No less than 8 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience supporting UPI platforms, retail banking applications, and payment gateways.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux commands, log analysis, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred).
