Job Opportunity

 

  • A strong foundation in electrical engineering disciplines such as electrical, electronics or instrumentation is required.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in BMS engineering, testing & commissioning are necessary.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, PLC and BMS programming is advantageous.
  • A thorough understanding of communication protocols including OPC, BACnet and Modbus along with their implementation over IP, ETH and MS/TP is essential.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, commissioning and testing building automation systems is required.
  • Experience in creating graphic screens for BMS/SCADA/HMI systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to conduct IO loop tests and functional tests is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL database programming is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Providing technical support to clients is a key responsibility.
  • Staying updated with current trends in automation and instrumentation to select and implement modern controls architectures is vital.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are highly desirable.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Design, develop and test building automation systems.
  2. Develop and implement graphical interfaces for BMS/SCADA/HMI systems.
  3. Conduct IO loop tests and functional tests to ensure system reliability.
  4. Provide technical support to clients and resolve their queries promptly.
  5. Stay updated with current trends in automation and instrumentation and apply this knowledge to select and implement modern controls architectures.
  6. Collaborate with other teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in BMS engineering, testing & commissioning.
  • SCADA, PLC and BMS programming experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of communication protocols including OPC, BACnet and Modbus.
  • Design, development, commissioning and testing of building automation systems experience is required.
  • BMS/SCADA/HMI graphic screen development experience is beneficial.
