Job Title: Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nutrition professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments, designing personalized diet plans, and providing dietary guidance to employees and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough nutritional assessments of employees and patients visiting the Occupational Health Centre (OHC).
  • Designing customized diet charts for employees with lifestyle disorders, such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular conditions.
  • Providing expert dietary guidance for individuals exposed to occupational risks, high-temperature environments, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Planning balanced and nutritious menus for the canteen, ensuring alignment with occupational health and energy needs.
  • Monitoring food quality, hygiene standards, and portioning in canteens to ensure compliance with nutrition and safety norms.
  • Counseling employees on healthy eating practices to prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses.
  • Developing comprehensive nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels.
  • Conducting awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating.
  • Collaborating with doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists in the OHC to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Staying updated on best practices in clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and industrial dietary management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent.
  • Registered Dietician certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
  • Experience in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
