Job Title

A Nutrition Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of employees and patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop personalized diet plans to address lifestyle disorders, such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
  • Provide dietary guidance to individuals exposed to occupational risks, high-temperature environments, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Plan and implement balanced, nutritious menus for canteens, aligning with occupational health and energy needs.
  • Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and portioning to ensure compliance with nutrition and safety norms.
  • Counsel employees on healthy eating practices to prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses.
  • Design and implement nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels.
  • Conduct awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for reporting purposes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent.
  • Registered Dietician certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
  • Experience in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills are essential.
