Optical Consultant

This is a highly rewarding role that requires strong customer service and product knowledge skills.

As an Optical Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right eyewear based on their vision needs. This includes understanding prescription requirements, face shape, lifestyle, and personal preferences.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Guide customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, usage, and style
• Provide expert advice on lens options such as anti-reflective, blue light filter, progressive, photochromic, etc.
• Accurately interpret and explain eyeglass prescriptions
• Ensure proper fit of frames, make minor frame adjustments for comfort and alignment
• Manage sales transactions and maintain accurate customer records
• Upsell premium lenses, accessories, and warranty packages
• Coordinate with optometrists, optical labs, and suppliers for timely order fulfillment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in optical sales or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of optical products and lenses preferred
• Training in optics or a certification in optical dispensing a plus, not always required
