Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Master Data Management (MDM) activities for SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive MDM strategies and roadmaps to drive data governance initiatives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and processes, including data migration and cutover activities.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency during data migration plans, while implementing data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.
  • Establish and implement MDM best practices and data management capabilities, defining and enforcing data management principles, policies, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance initiatives, participating in daily stand-ups and issue tracking.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and business stakeholders, to identify risks and recommend process improvements for MDM.
  • Conduct training sessions on SAP S/4HANA MDM best practices and processes, developing and maintaining training materials and documentation.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) is preferred.
  • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, data migration, and rollouts is necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of data governance, lifecycle management, and compliance is essential.
  • Ability to monitor and report on data quality using consistent metrics is critical.
  • Familiarity with KANBAN boards, ticketing tools, and dashboard tracking is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary.

Automation & Productivity Tools:

  • Knowledge of automation and productivity tools, including ABAP and SQL, is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP Data Services or other data migration tools is preferred.
