About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineering Leader to join our team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the development of scalable and secure backend systems for our stablecoin payments initiative.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of backend systems for web and mobile applications in the stablecoin stack.
  • Define architecture, lead technical discussions, and ensure system robustness.
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript / Node.js and API design.
  • Prior exposure to fintech or payments (strongly preferred).
  • Track record of integrating external APIs across geographies.
  • Leadership experience in scaling early-stage, ambiguous systems.
