Senior Backend Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Architect to lead our full-stack development team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive technical excellence across projects and architect scalable solutions.

About the Role

In this challenging position, you will take ownership of backend architecture and development, guiding a team of engineers to deliver high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Magento, WordPress, and Shopify.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead backend development using modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services.
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in PHP, experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, as well as expertise in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks. Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Java, ReactJS, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git) is essential. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills are also required.
