Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking an accomplished Backend Engineer to collaborate with our development team in crafting robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services. This role entails working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain core backend systems that power our applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Node.js, TypeScript, and its ecosystem, as well as experience working with monorepo setups, CI/CD workflows, and cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. Additionally, they will have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, proficiency in API testing, and a solid knowledge of databases and ORMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Fastify and Express.
  2. Work within a monorepo architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  3. Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  4. Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
  5. Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
  6. Write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools.
  7. Conduct load and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements:

  1. Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and its ecosystem.
  • Experience working with monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP services (compute, networking, storage).
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP, etc.
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman) and load testing tools (k6, JMeter, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORMs such as Drizzle or Prisma.
Soft Skills:
