Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our backend development efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NodeJS, NoSQL databases, and experience working on high-traffic applications.

This role involves contributing to the product architecture, optimizing existing APIs, and developing new ones with a focus on performance and scalability.

You will work closely with the team to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the product architecture to handle millions of requests per day.
  • Optimize existing APIs for performance using data denormalization and decoupling long-running tasks with queues.
  • Develop high-performance, reusable, and bug-free APIs.
  • Familiarize yourself with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambdas, SNS, SQS, and SES.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience working on high-traffic applications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
