Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our remote team in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable GraphQL APIs using NestJS.
  • Develop secure and performant backend services handling large-scale data.
  • Integrate with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB.
  • Closely collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver full-stack features.
  • Write modular, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Build and manage microservices and background workers.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain code quality with unit and integration testing (Jest, SuperTest, etc.).
  • Design, build, and maintain backend services with AWS.
  • Develop efficient queries and data models in Postgres and DynamoDB.
  • Implement containerized applications using Docker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously improve architecture and suggest optimizations.
  • Apply deep understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency with AWS services.
  • Strong knowledge of Postgres and DynamoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
