Production Optimization Specialist

The ideal candidate will oversee and improve production processes in a fabrication unit, ensuring high-quality output, efficient use of resources, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate daily operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Supervise production staff, ensuring activities are executed safely and efficiently.
  • Interpret technical specifications for fabrication, optimizing processes to reduce waste and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with design, maintenance, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of raw materials.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions for fabrication-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the fabrication shop.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in fabrication or heavy manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, machining, and forming.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and welding equipment.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
