Application Support Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to provide high-quality technical assistance for banking and fintech applications.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in FinTech or Banking, strong communication and analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves providing L1/L2 application support, acting as the first point of contact for users, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve user issues efficiently.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution.
  • Perform incident analysis, root cause identification, and resolution tracking.

The successful candidate will also monitor application logs and system alerts to proactively identify potential issues, document issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in the knowledge base, and communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure seamless application functionality and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of banking and fintech applications, including their features, limitations, and integration points.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement process improvements.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 1–3 years of experience in application support, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple support tickets under time constraints.
  • Understanding of incident and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic database query writing for issue analysis.
