Job Title: Software Program Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Program Manager to lead our software engineering projects and programs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of software programs, partnering with engineering, product, and internal business teams to ensure understanding of priorities, execution visibility, project delivery, and achievement of targeted outcomes.

You will have overall ownership of program statuses, financial forecasts, risk tracking, team member communications, and ensuring process compliance. Additionally, you will report to the Manager, Program Management (U.S. based) and follow a hybrid working schedule in Pune, India.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software programs
  • Collaborate with engineering and product leadership on program-level planning and prioritization
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members
  • Facilitate milestone planning and progress tracking
  • Ensure cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the program lifecycle
  • Monitor and report on project and program progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Promote delivery excellence through adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and internal processes
  • Resolve delivery blockers, manage interdependencies, and escalate as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field required
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management in software engineering or related technical field
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent
