Job Overview

The selected candidate will oversee the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) across multiple stakeholders, leading large-scale urban housing projects with timelines and budgeting. Key responsibilities include monitoring progress, tracking fund utilization, and beneficiary identification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual action plans and coordinate teams for effective on-ground delivery.
  • Prepare, analyze, and manage project-related Request for Proposals (RFPs), bidding documents, and oversee bid management ensuring government compliance.
  • Collaborate with state, municipal, central government officials, private developers, financial institutions, consultants, and communities.
  • Coordinate fund flow: ensure timely release from resources and proper utilization through direct benefit transfer (DBT) and MIS.
  • Conduct regular team meetings; compile robust project Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  • Implement IT-enabled platforms for project monitoring, geo-tagging, beneficiary databases, and real-time dashboards.
  • Address grievances, conduct meets, and resolve escalation issues efficiently.
  • Adhere to operational guidelines and liaise in English and Marathi with stakeholders for effective communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

For this position, we seek a candidate with:

  • Project management, monitoring, and progress tracking experience.
  • Understanding of centrally sponsored schemes, particularly in housing/urban development.
  • Financial management skills: fund flow, subsidy tracking, utilization certificates, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • IT and data analytics expertise: experience with MIS, dashboards, process automation, and digital reporting platforms.
  • Strategy development, multi-stakeholder coordination, and liaison skills.
  • RFP preparation, bid process design, and evaluation experience.
  • Team leadership and capacity building skills.
  • Proficiency in Marathi and English.
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to navigate government interfaces.
  • Understanding of social inclusion, urban governance, and state housing policy framework.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields. Preference is given to certifications in Project Management, Data Analytics, or MIS.

Experience

We require at least 9 years of experience in project management, including at least 4-5 years handling government, housing, infrastructure, or urban development projects.
