Job Role: In-House Legal Specialist
The role requires a dedicated legal professional to oversee all legal and compliance matters for the business. This entails drafting, reviewing, and verifying legal documents, preparing applications and filings, representing the company in proceedings, and collaborating with senior advocates and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and validate contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
- Handle compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when necessary.
- Prepare and file applications, petitions, and responses with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain organized legal records and case files.
- Coordinate with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and keep management informed.
- Provide strategic legal guidance to management on various transactions and disputes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
- Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- 3+ years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
