Key Objectives:

  • Secure key land parcels for renewable energy projects across the state, taking into account technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire land acquisition process from scouting to completion, including negotiation, documentation, registration, and liaison with government departments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local landowners, agents, and government officials.
  • Ensure legal validity of land through due diligence and coordination with in-house legal teams.
  • Oversee ROW (Right of Way) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state policies.
  • Document agreements, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps accurately.
  • Monitor local land prices, zoning regulations, and state incentives to optimize deals.
  • Lead a team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.
  • Address conflicts and resolve legal or community-related issues arising during land acquisition.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to management.
