System Configuration Specialist

This is a dynamic role for an experienced professional to join our team in configuring and supporting global, web-based applications. The successful candidate will provide daily system support to users via telephone, email, and instant messaging, troubleshoot system issues, perform system administration duties, and assist with configuration changes.

  • Job Description:
  • The primary purpose of this role is to assist system program leaders with system configurations and support for global, web-based applications.
  • Job Duties:
  • • Provide daily system support (via telephone, email, and instant messaging) to users of the application.
  • • Troubleshoot system issues with users and work with them to solve the issues, as well as the software vendors when necessary.
  • • Perform several system administration duties, such as updating website information content, system data changes, etc.
  • • Assist with configuration changes to the workflow tool.
  • • Create and execute test cases to confirm configurations work as expected.
  • • Assist with software validation and change control activities.
  • • Develop charts, graphs, and other reports utilizing Excel, Tableau, and other tools.
  • • Develop training materials.
  • Required Skills:
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • • Excellent organization skills.
  • • Passionate about their work and with helping others succeed, a team player.
  • • Experienced with system troubleshooting and investigating to find the root cause.
  • • Experienced user of Windows and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • • SQL experience required.
  • • Past scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBScript).
  • • SharePoint experience.
