Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site specialist to join our expanding team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures. Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills are essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment. Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh DM graduates are also encouraged to apply.

  • Duties:
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures (Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, etc.)
  • Manage hepatology cases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient management
  • Participate in academic training programs and clinical quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • DM (Gastroenterology) from a recognized institute (mandatory)
  • Strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment
