Business Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Business Finance Manager to join our finance team. This role will play a key part in shaping pricing strategy, reducing revenue leakages, and driving data-led financial decisions across transaction-level merchant operations.

Purpose of the Role

This position will design and implement pricing frameworks for merchant acquiring and digital payments, monitor MDR structures, interchange fees, and cost dynamics to maximize profitability, and work closely with product and business teams to evaluate pricing for new launches or experiments.

Responsibilities
  • Pricing & Revenue Optimization: Create pricing models that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Analyze transaction-level data to identify mismatches, undercharges, and revenue leakage, and implement controls and fixes to plug leakages across systems and merchant billing.
  • Act as a finance partner to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Ops teams on pricing and profitability, participating in key business reviews and offering financial insights and pricing recommendations.
  • Revenue Leakage Identification & Recovery: Develop strategies to identify and recover revenue leaks.
  • Drive automation and visibility across pricing and revenue dashboards using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI.
  • Business Partnering: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Design and implement data-driven solutions to track pricing health, merchant-level profitability, and recovery metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in business finance, pricing, or FP&A roles, preferably in fintech, payments, or merchant businesses.
  • A degree in CA/MBA (Finance) or Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative fields.
