We are a SaaS startup building a comprehensive platform to empower global e-commerce brands.

Job Overview

This role involves protecting and managing a rapidly growing financial portfolio as we expand from $5M to $50M in annual revenue over the next few years. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day financial management.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for working closely with the CEO, executive team, and investors to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute all financial operations like payroll processing, vendor payments, and collections.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee cash management, monitoring cash flow and optimizing working capital.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
  • Support fundraising efforts by developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.
  • Building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling SaaS company is exciting.
  • Adaptability to uncertainty in an early-stage environment is essential.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting expertise is required.
  • Past experience in SaaS accounting is an added advantage.
