Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Business Intelligence professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining robust data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis.

This is a hybrid role that combines data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
  • Administer and optimize the database on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls.
  • Manage special data projects as the organization expands into new areas.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting tools for various business areas.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python and Excel to provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Present findings and insights to internal teams and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics or another quantitative field required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation and analysis.
