Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our data team. You will be responsible for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Oversee user management and roles.
  • Ensure the quality of imported data through thorough reviews and collaboration with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Coordinate the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
  • Process confidential data and information in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist in developing reports and analyses.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, encompassing data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Promote initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Evaluate tests and implement new or upgraded software while assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Provide training to end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Offer technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
  • Work experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Capacity to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical, lay terms.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
