Job Description:

The primary responsibility of a rehabilitation therapy professional is to assess patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs. This entails conducting thorough evaluations, identifying areas of improvement, and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to patients' specific goals and requirements.
  • Provide therapy through exercises, manual techniques, and physiotherapy equipment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, TENS, and heat/cold therapy, under the guidance of medical professionals.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure effective recovery.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home-based exercises, recovery strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for holistic care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and reports, facilitating seamless communication among healthcare teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical rehabilitation techniques.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and physiotherapy tools.
  • Expertise in manual therapy and patient assessment, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
