Senior Backend Developer Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned developer with a strong track record of delivering major websites. The ideal candidate will work closely with our teams to ensure our website is best in class.

The Websites team is responsible for the CMS system on which all of our client's websites are built. These sites see upwards of 2 million hits a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and implement enterprise content solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical issues, and defects in AEM implementations
  • Develop and implement product innovations using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Design, develop, and maintain back-end features in AEM using Java, Sling, OSGi, and other AEM-specific technologies
  • Work on Springboot application and AWS, handling CI/CD pipeline
  • Conduct code reviews, employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience working in a development team with strong experience in Java and AEM knowledge
  • Strong experience as a senior developer in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations
  • Solid understanding of Java, AEM's architecture, JCR, Sling, and OSGi, Services, Components, Dispatcher, caching systems
  • Ability to integrate AEM with third-party services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer centricity
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
