Job Title: AVP Business Development

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AVP Business Development to join our team at AKMV Consultants Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing the company's revenues based on current trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  2. Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  3. Meet potential clients by growing maintaining and leveraging your network.
  4. Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organisation.
  5. Research and build relationships with new clients.
  6. Plan approaches and pitches. Work with a team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs concerns and objectives.
  7. Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  8. Handle objections by clarifying emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  9. Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
  10. Contribute actively to annual business planning and review by providing requisite information on market potential opportunities competitor trends and risks.
  11. Develop guidelines for overall pricing strategy and facilitate regional teams in the development of regional pricing strategies.
  12. Lead the development of proposals in response to RFPs/enquiries from clients; oversee the development of business development presentations/collateral templates and associated guidelines for consistent prompt turnaround on the same.
  13. Provide functional guidance to ensure standardization of Business Development & Sales practices across the organisation such as: sales forecasting & monitoring. Undertaking lead evaluation and site level inspection. Proposal /RFP response preparation.
  14. Negotiate rates and payments terms with clients with a view to maximizing sales revenue while extending relationships.

Desired Qualifications: MBA or any postgraduate with relevant experience. Desired experience 10 years of experience with at least last 5-7 years experience in Solution Sales.
