Job Title: Storage Systems Architect

  • Deliver high-quality operational support to customers for incident, problem, and change management activities.
  • Develop and execute maintenance plans.
  • Analyze customer environments for performance and design issues, proposing resolutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for storage technologies.
  • Work with vendors to resolve storage-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with Dell Isilon/PowerScale, including best practices.
  • 5+ years of experience with Dell Unity.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and data replication technologies.
  • Block and file migration experience is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise and departmental switching technologies.
  • Proficiency in managing storage devices via CLI and the management UI.
  • Experience with other storage platforms is an asset.
  • 10+ years of experience with operational administration of IT systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with monitoring platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise ITSM systems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure concepts.
  • Managed Services or consulting experience is required.
  • Cloud Platform knowledge is desired.
  • Strong background in customer service.
  • High-level problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Related Storage certifications are an asset.
