Enterprise Storage and Server Administrator

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise storage and server infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAN/NAS systems, virtualization platforms, Windows/Linux servers, and backup solutions.

You will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our data centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS, DAS).
  • Administer physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Linux).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Perform capacity planning and storage provisioning.
  • Apply patches, updates, and firmware upgrades to servers and storage devices.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support business needs.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and data protection regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in storage and server administration.
  • Strong knowledge of storage technologies (Pure, Dell EMC, HPE, etc.).
  • Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Familiarity with backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, etc.).
  • Understanding of RAID, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and NFS/CIFS protocols.
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
