Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational health hazard assessments and suggest improvements to manage occupational health hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements under the Factories Act and Rajasthan Factories Rules.

Operational Duties:

  • Perform pre- and periodical medical examinations of workers and employees to ensure fitness before deployment.
  • Provide first-aid care, including emergency medical treatment.
  • Conduct statutory health checks and coordinate visits from certifying surgeons.
  • Maintain medicine stocks and inventory, as well as specific antidotes at the Occupational Health Center.
  • Keep medical records up-to-date and maintain them according to the Factories Act and Rules, as well as ISO requirements.
  • Generate a database of employee health records, provide necessary advice, and track trends.
  • Provide health education, including advisory services on occupational hazards, first aid, personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, and safety.
  • Oversee the management of the Occupational Health Center to handle any medical emergencies.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and control Medical Centre revenue budgets.
  • Propose capital expenditure projects.
  • Prepare revenue budgets.

People-Focused Objectives:

  • Offer referral services with necessary medical advice.
  • Deliver Occupational Health and General Health awareness training, including first aid training for employees.
  • Collaborate with Site EHS leads to improve leading HSE metrics and sustain and further improve EHS management at the site.

Requirements:

  • Hold an MBBS degree.
  • Have a Diploma in Industrial Health (DIH) or Certificate of Training in Industrial Health recognized by the state government.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-8 years of experience managing OHC in an industrial setting.
