Job Title: Director of Placement

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Director of Placement, overseeing multiple Stores Departments across various locations within the University and Hospital.

The university offers courses in Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts and Science, catering to over 8,000 students. Located near Gurgaon, it has excellent support facilities like shopping, medical care, entertainment, and transportation.

This role requires preparing students for placements and ensuring student placements in programs. The incumbent should be target-driven, connected with good corporates for campus recruitment, and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish industry connections with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR Consultants in Delhi NCR.
  • Network with Industry Associations, Forums, and Captains.
  • Stay updated on online communities and social media platforms.
  • Utilize job portals and technology platforms for networking.
  • Interact with industries regarding career opportunities and employment trends.
  • Connect with resources and institutions (government-affiliated bodies).
  • Facilitate internship opportunities for students.
  • Manage placement data and maintain records.
  • Prepare reports from placement data for periodical reviews.
  • Flexibly manage time requirements as needed.
  • Organize interaction programs on career opportunities.
  • Track application forms, pre-screen candidates, shortlist, and schedule interviews.
  • Monitor individual candidates' progress.
  • Provide counseling on procedures to applicants.

Training Support:

  • Organize Skill Lab Orientation programs.
  • Enroll students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with different academic institutions.
  • Conduct training programs at various academic institutions.
  • Work closely with subject experts and learning engagement coaches to revise and update curriculums.
  • Strengthen knowledge and provide feedback on methodologies in the training process.

Essential Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.

Desirable Qualifications:

A postgraduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field.

Relevant Experience:

A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Placements in the NCR Region.
