Senior Accountant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead our finance and accounts function. This is a key role that will oversee the complete accounting function of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts, as well as preparing and reviewing financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets for management.

About You:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in accounts and finance with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial systems, including proficiency in GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting function (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, etc.).
  2. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts.
  3. Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets for management.
  4. Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  5. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
  6. Establish and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.
  7. Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making in collaboration with leadership.
  8. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts & finance team.
