Job Title: Chief Sourcing Officer

The primary responsibility of the Chief Sourcing Officer is to spearhead all sourcing and procurement activities across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives for real estate and retail operations.

  • Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies in line with company goals, encompassing real estate projects, retail products, and related categories.
  • Oversee the entire sourcing process from vendor identification and selection to negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
  • Establish effective sourcing policies, processes, and systems to guarantee efficient, transparent, and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Forge strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply, quality, and competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with project teams, operations, design, and finance departments to coordinate timely procurement planning and availability of materials and services.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and analyze opportunities for cost savings while ensuring compliance with budgetary controls.
  • Formulate long-term sourcing strategies for key categories such as construction materials, interiors, furniture, fixtures, and retail-related inventories.
  • Mitigate procurement risks by evaluating suppliers' financial health, delivery performance, and quality benchmarks.
  • Implement technology-driven procurement solutions, ERP systems, and dashboards to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements in supplier contracts and procurement activities.
  • Regularly report procurement performance, cost savings, supplier scorecards, and procurement KPIs to top management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sourcing team.
