Job Title: Senior Executive Purchase

The role of Senior Executive Purchase is a critical one in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organization's supply chain operations.

As a Senior Executive Purchase, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities efficiently by identifying reliable vendors, negotiating cost-effective purchases, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and services required for manufacturing operations.

  • Procurement & Sourcing
    • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors for raw materials, machinery spares, consumables, and services.
    • Obtain quotations, compare price, quality, and delivery terms, and finalize purchase orders.
    • Develop alternate sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Vendor Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Conduct vendor performance evaluation based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and payment conditions.
  • Purchase Operations
    • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company policies and approvals.
    • Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production schedule.
    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for replenishment.
  • Cost Optimization
    • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
    • Benchmark prices and identify opportunities for bulk/long-term contracts.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate procurement records (POs, invoices, GRNs, contracts).
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
    • Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and reconciliations.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
    • Work closely with production, quality, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
    • Resolve material-related issues with suppliers and internal departments.
