Job Title: Shift Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a data center, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a shift team to execute planned and unplanned activities within timelines with effective communication.
  • They must track complaints and resolve them within Service Level Agreement (SLA) deviations.
  • The candidate should manage incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement recommendations within periodic reviews.
  • Maintaining asset management, warranties, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management is also a key responsibility.
  • They are expected to track 5 Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) completion with Turnaround Time (TAT) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), ensuring 100% availability of equipment.
  • The candidate should manage vendors with Response And Turnaround Time (RAT) and TAT on complaints and uptime of redundant equipment.
  • They must track and maintain records for all stocks as per Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven relevant work experience in the Data Center Industry.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
Benefits:

Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

At least 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience.

The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge and strong organizational skills to effectively lead the shift team.

They should be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
