Job Description

Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the development of new products and optimization of existing formulations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in formulation development for Solid and Liquid Dosage forms, with a focus on regulated markets.

The role requires strong leadership skills, including the ability to understand project scope, define activities and timelines, and ensure timely completion.

  1. To investigate characteristics of APIs and their viability, safety, and compatibility with other ingredients.
  2. To develop R&D plans and experimental designs by applying QBD principles for all new product development projects and processes.
  3. To plan and coordinate execution of lab scale-up/optimization and pilot BE batches while ensuring strict adherence to lab GMP system and practices.
  4. To liaison and coordinate with technology transfer teams and production teams to ensure seamless technology transfer.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Programming for the optimization of existing product performance.
  • Monitoring stability protocols, checking stability studies, and evaluating results.
  • Liaising with various departments, including project management, analytical development, supply chain team, clinical, regulatory, and IP department.
