Job Location: Chennai

Division/Department: Retail

Sub-Function: Road Marking

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and achieve sales volume, value and growth targets in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain a database of the territory's road construction companies, government bodies, contractors, and dealers, and track their existing business and convert them as our channel partners.
  • Stay updated about new road projects and tenders launched in the assigned territory.
  • Establish relationships with influencers (contractors/channel partners, for example) or government officials to create sales by referral.
  • Establish contacts with reputed contractors and construction companies involved in State and National Highway projects.
  • Prepare forecast of future sales for the territory, requiring Business Development (BD) activities to maintain the business pipeline for future growth, and provide necessary credentials/testimonials, product datasheets, brochures etc. as and when needed for necessary approval. After-sales service should be provided to customers/end users to their satisfaction within a scheduled time frame.
  • Provide functional expertise and mentorship to the Internal Sales Team.


Requirements

Should have experience in sales of Road marking paint/coating.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

UG : B. Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, B.Sc - Any Specialization, B – Commerce.

PG : MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization

Personality Trait Requirements:


• Candidate should be a Graduate (B / B.Sc) and a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Marketing Management with an experience of 4-6 years in Channel Sales preferably from Construction chemical/Cement industry.


• Highly energetic, motivated, confident candidates with good communication and selling skills.


• Should have the ability to get the 'feel' of the market and to convert products into business.


• Must be a go-getter with high drive and initiative.


• Should be a local candidate.
