Senior Manager Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively collaborate with business teams to provide analytical expertise and thought leadership in understanding business performance, defining KPIs, forecasting, segmentation/targeting, strategic planning, and leveraging internal and external data assets to make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with business leaders to develop new techniques, explore innovative data assets, and drive standardisation of reporting. Focus on critical business questions, drive towards strategic and synthesised insights, and suggest ideas and actionable recommendations that enable better decision-making for the business.
  • Simplify complex analyses and create clear and concise stories to enable the organisation to make informed data-driven decisions, robust strategic plans, and business cases.
  • Challenge the status quo, explore new data assets, and experiment with innovative analytics to ensure a business has a competitive advantage with robust account-based analytics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and emerging trends of Market Research and Analytical methodologies. Evaluate insights derived from robust analysis of multiple data sources, both internal and external. Maintain full compliance with internal and external guidelines, stay current on external and internal guidelines, develop training and approaches for the Integrated Team (where needed), understand and fully comply with compliance requirements.
  • Partner with relevant internal departments and communicate information across all key stakeholders. Interface directly with cross-functional teams to ensure supported projects are delivered on time and to the appropriate quality for stakeholders.
  • Build insightful reports and presentations that highlight actionable insights combined with business implications/strategic & tactical options.

  • Quality and accuracy of deliverables.
  • Performance measured against internal goals and external benchmarks.
  • Ability to provide problem-solving leadership to enable analytic-based solutions to business questions and challenges in situations requiring new and innovative approaches.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience including a minimum of 3 years of experience with Pharma data across geographies.
  • Deep understanding of pharma industry and drivers of business performance.
  • Experience in the generics and biosimilars space is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Superior communication skills.
