**Job Title:** Credit and Collection Specialist

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of a Collections Analyst is to manage the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding customer invoices. Effective financial management involves maintaining accurate records, tracking payments, and identifying potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
  • Identify and mitigate risk by analysing account histories and payment patterns.
  • Resolve billing and payment discrepancies through collaboration with internal departments.
  • Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-offs when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting.
  • 2-4 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
