Chief Financial Strategist

About the role:
This position will lead strategic financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis initiatives across the organization.
Key responsibilities include leading annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning. Collaboration with business units is required to understand financial drivers and align financial plans with strategies.
Performance analysis, trend identification, and actionable insights are also key responsibilities. Additionally, building and maintaining financial models for strategic initiatives and investment decisions is crucial.
Partnerships with accounting and business teams are necessary for accurate reporting and compliance. Reporting and presenting dashboards, variance analysis, and management reports to leadership is also a critical aspect of this role.
Automation and efficiency in FP&A processes using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Anaplan will be driven by the successful candidate.
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations for improved financial outcomes is essential.
Required skills and qualifications include a Certificate of Accountancy (CA), 6-8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Business Finance, and experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
Strong Excel skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and BI tools are also necessary. Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong business acumen and strategic thinking, are required for success in this role.
