Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between customers and suppliers, driving the execution of supplier strategies to maximize revenue, net gross profits, and customer satisfaction. This role entails building strong relationships with key stakeholders in supplier organizations and partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiative Development: Create, develop, and implement supplier-specific initiatives to drive business growth.
- Channel Partner Engagement: Foster strong relationships with channel partners and suppliers to enhance collaboration and revenue opportunities.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the sales cycle, focusing on credit management, order processing, and accounts receivable collections to optimize operational efficiency.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and inventory management to ensure seamless business operations.
- Market Development: Collaborate with experienced Business Development Managers to identify market potential and develop new business opportunities.
- Sales Competency Development: Work closely with channel partners to develop sales competencies and close deals through hands-on involvement and coaching.
- Training and Development: Coordinate with suppliers to provide technical and sales training on new products and technologies.
- Experience: 3-7 years of relevant work experience in a sales or business development role.
- Education: Master's or postgraduate degree in a sales-related field or a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to execute instructions, recognize important details, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Language: Fluent in English and a local language, with the ability to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Work Environment: Distribution center environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and outside weather conditions.
