Key Responsibilities

This is a strategic leadership role that will oversee the administration of Unix and Linux operating systems with a focus on Red Hat Linux 7/8/9.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OS administration, including knowledge of Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management.

This includes excellent skills in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, and similar platforms.

We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 7+ years of experience in Unix Servers operating system Administration, deploying, managing large Unix server infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be able to install, configure, migrate, performance tune, troubleshoot, secure, failover, and load manage business application servers in various environments.


In addition, we require good knowledge of clustering, Unix update management tasks, troubleshooting/resolving issues, debugging/problem analysis, and virtualized environment.


The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing network requirements for Unix Server Infrastructure and a high degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.


Excellent communication skills are required to effectively communicate and deal with both internal and external customers.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Engineering graduate / MCA / Computer Science Graduate or PG
  • Experience in Linux Administration and Redhat Satellite, Capsule, and Template Management.
  • Experience in VMware platform, Scripting - Shell / Perl /Python
  • Incident management

  • ITIL framework
