System Administration Expert Required for SAP Basis

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned system administration professional to manage and optimize our SAP Basis infrastructure. As an expert in this field, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our SAP systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration and experience with installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of SAP systems. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues, as well as monitoring and analyzing system logs, performance metrics, and system health.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with functional teams to support SAP application performance and resolve issues. You will also be responsible for managing system backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.

In addition, you will stay updated on SAP technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement in our SAP environments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and other SAP products.
  • Proficiency in database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).
  • Experience with OS platforms such as Linux, Windows, or UNIX.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) and SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and its functionalities.
  • SAP certifications related to Basis administration.
