Customer Marketing Operations Manager
Job DescriptionThe role of the Customer Marketing Operations Manager is to oversee end-to-end event production, from initial strategy development through post-event analysis for multiple concurrent client campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing events at marketing agencies or in-house marketing teams and experience with both micro-events and large-scale productions across various industries.
This individual must be able to translate client marketing objectives into targeted event experiences using proprietary audience intelligence. They will also be responsible for coordinating with creative teams to ensure event design aligns with broader marketing campaign goals.
Additionally, the Customer Marketing Operations Manager will serve as primary operational point of contact for assigned client accounts, leading client calls, presenting campaign strategies, and providing regular performance updates. They will collaborate with account management to develop integrated marketing campaigns where events drive lead generation and brand engagement.
The successful candidate will have strong project management capabilities, vendor management experience, and proficiency with marketing technology stack including CRM systems, event platforms, and analytics tools. They must also possess excellent communication skills, data-driven mindset, crisis management abilities, and team coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Event Production team to ensure end-to-end event production
- Translate client marketing objectives into targeted event experiences
- Coordinate with creative teams to ensure event design aligns with broader marketing campaign goals
- Serve as primary operational point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Lead client calls, present campaign strategies, and provide regular performance updates
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in marketing operations, event marketing, or experiential marketing with demonstrated leadership responsibility
- Proven track record managing events at marketing agencies or in-house marketing teams
- Experience with both micro-events and large-scale productions across various industries
- Background in campaign management with understanding of marketing attribution and ROI measurement
- Strong project management capabilities with experience using tools like Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Vendor management experience including contract negotiation and relationship building
- Proficiency with marketing technology stack including CRM systems, event platforms, and analytics tools
