Avaloq Developer Job Description

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions using the Avaloq Banking System. With your expertise, we aim to deliver top-notch products that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Avaloq Banking System solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and adaptability to changing requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Banking, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in Core Banking Platforms or Wealth Management domains.
  • Strong understanding of Avaloq Banking System, including Accumulator/Deccumulator (AQDQ) products and their lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Version Control Systems (VCS).
Preferred Skills:
  • Avaloq Certification training.
  • Knowledge of market data and financial models.
  • Practical understanding of Interfaces with Bloomberg/FIX protocol.
  • Technical competencies in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS, Git.
