Sales Professional
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for introducing and acquiring new customers in the identified segment and generating references from the specified catchment.
To succeed in this role, you will need to ensure the sourcing of quality current accounts in terms of product mix, segments, and constitution mix.
You will also be responsible for ensuring initial customer handholding and M+1 activation, providing right advice to customers for products and documentation, opening accounts within the defined timeframe, familiarizing customers with branch services and processes, monitoring welcome kit delivery, and following up for repeat funding and business transactions.
In addition, you will need to ensure proactive registration and activation of acquired customers to direct banking channels.
You will work closely with the Business Relationship Leader to map and scope catchments and provide regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarking.
Your primary goal will be to meet and exceed defined targets of new customer acquisition month-on-month by analyzing transaction banking needs of customers.
As a Sales Professional, you must abide strictly with selling norms defined by the organization and adhere to guidelines by internal and external regulators.
You will also need to ensure quality sourcing in line with bank policies and adhere to sales process and KYC norms.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum age of 25 years and a maximum of 30 years.
A Post Graduate degree or a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in current account acquisition.
Some knowledge of trade and forex products.
Prior experience in banking organizations with experience in current account acquisition is necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
Good oral and written communication skills.
High sales orientation and willingness to take extensive field visits.
Oriented towards servicing customers and understanding their needs.
Awareness of local market dynamics.
Good understanding of competitive products and their pricing.
