Job Description: Operations Director

The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day functions of the office, ensuring seamless alignment between departments and company goals.

  • Office Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations within the corporate office environment.
    • Evaluate departmental performance to ensure smooth functioning of administrative units such as Admin, HR, Finance, Sales Support, Procurement, and Projects.
    • Spearhead administrative processes including documentation management, asset tracking, office supply procurement, and team logistics.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination:
    • Facilitate collaboration among various verticals to guarantee efficient workflows.
    • Monitor cross-functional tasks, identify potential roadblocks, and implement timely resolutions.
    • Maintain close communication between field operations and office support teams.
  • Office Systems & Process Optimization:
    • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for all office functions.
    • Ensure document control, filing systems, and reporting formats are uniform and adhered to.
    • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across all departments.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports from all departments.
    • Prepare comprehensive dashboards and updates for senior management.
    • Track internal KPIs related to operations, productivity, and project delivery support.
  • Team Oversight & Task Allocation:
    • Allocate and monitor tasks to department heads or coordinators.
    • Follow up on deadlines, pending work, and escalated issues.
    • Ensure that team members are adequately supported and resourced.
  • Compliance, Discipline & Office Policies:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, rules, and internal guidelines.
    • Maintain discipline, attendance, and punctuality within the office.
    • Closely collaborate with HR for employee engagement, conflict resolution, and training needs.
  • Communication & Escalation Handling:
    • Act as the central point of communication between departments and top management.
    • Handle operational escalations and ensure timely resolutions.
    • Conduct regular coordination meetings with department heads.
