Job Title: Analytical Testing Specialist

The role of an Analytical Testing Specialist involves conducting detailed testing on various materials to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include performing laboratory tests using techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, and pH meter analysis.

Accurate documentation of test results is essential, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensuring audit readiness. The specialist will also be responsible for preparing specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, intermediates, and solvents used in analyses.

Inspecting, sampling, and testing starting materials including packaging materials, semi-finished and finished products as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is another critical aspect of the job. Preparation of Certificate of Analysis (COA) and status labeling of Quality Control instruments are additional key tasks.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP, GLP, ISO, and ICH, assisting with internal and external audits and inspections, and preparing necessary reports and corrective actions are all part of this role. Regular calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments are also essential to guarantee accuracy and reliability of results.

Investigating out-of-specification results, deviations, or non-conformances, initiating Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and providing recommendations for process improvements are key responsibilities. Managing sample collection, labeling, and storage, overseeing stability studies, and retention samples to ensure product consistency are also integral aspects of this position.

This role requires a proactive approach to continuous improvement of QC processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements to testing methods and practices. Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials while complying with environmental regulations are essential duties.
