Financial Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Financial Recovery Specialist to contribute to our collections efforts in Chennai.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish contact with customers regarding overdue payments via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Clearly explain outstanding amounts, resolve customer queries, and negotiate payment plans.
  • Collaborate with customers to create timely repayment strategies and follow up on progress.
  • Accurately update daily records and maintain Excel/CRM entries.
  • Escalate delinquent cases according to internal protocols.
  • Maintain professional conduct when handling sensitive financial data.

Requirements:
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (M.Com/MBA preferred).
  • 0-1 year of experience in collections, finance operations, or related internships.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English and Tamil (additional South Indian languages are an asset).
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations and negotiate confidently.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or basic CRM tools.
  • Willingness to work from the office (Chennai-based role).

The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in financial recovery, customer negotiation, and debt collection.
