About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Collections Specialist to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our OTC (Outstanding to Cash) collections team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve outstanding balances and prevent future issues.
Collections Strategy: Develop and implement effective collections strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the collections process and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and credit, to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as collection rates and customer satisfaction, to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in collections or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with a working knowledge of CRM software.
