Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess 7-10 years of experience in user experience and interface design for large enterprises or agency environments.

Key responsibilities include defining a unified user experience vision, creating design principles, patterns, and success metrics that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will also lead cross-functional teams, mentor designers, conduct rigorous design reviews, and establish best-practice guidelines.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with executive and legal stakeholders, facilitating workshops, driving consensus during high-impact design discussions, and incorporating feedback into iterative development cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic UX Leadership: Drive the high-level design roadmap, ensure alignment with business and technical roadmaps, and anticipate future scalability needs
  • Design System Stewardship: Oversee the creation and maintenance of a modular, extensible design library (tokens, variants, responsive breakpoints)
  • Cross-Functional Governance: Act as the authoritative design voice in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and triage calls
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead executive presentations, legal reviews, and brand-governance approvals
  • Quality Assurance & Handoff: Validate final builds against high-fidelity comps, provide annotated redlines and implementation notes, and support QA teams in pixel-perfect sign-off across devices and browsers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in human-computer interaction, industrial design, interaction design, or equivalent
  • 7+ years' proven leadership in user experience and interface design for large enterprises or agency environments
  • Expertise with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, and prototyping tools
  • Deep understanding of component-driven design methodologies
  • Strong command of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and collaboration with Product, Development, and QA teams
